Estate Planning Package (Trust-Based)
Typically includes a Revocable Living Trust, Advance Healthcare Directive, Pour-Over Will, Durable Power of Attorney, Certification of Trust, and various other supporting documents. Cost starts at $1,800 for a single person and $2,000 for a married couple.

Estate Planning Package (Will-Based)
Includes a Last Will & Testament, Durable Power of Attorney, and Advance Healthcare Directive. May be appropriate for very small estates under the probate threshold. Cost starts at $500 for a single person or $1,000 for a married couple.


Revocable Living Trust Amendments & Restatements: Cost starts at $350 for a simple amendment or $1,000 for a full restatement.

Special Needs Trust: Cost starts at $3,000 for a stand-alone document or $1,500 when created in conjunction with a revocable living trust-based estate plan.

Grantor Trust or Intentionally Defective Grantor Trust (IDGT): Cost starts at $3,000.

Life Insurance Trust: Cost starts at $3,000.

Advance Healthcare Directive: Cost starts at $100.

Durable Power of Attorney: Cost starts at $150.

Trust Transfer Deed: Cost is $300; discounts available for multiple transfers.

Prenuptial Agreements: Cost starts at $1,500 to draft an agreement. If you’d prefer to have one of our attorneys review and sign off on a prenuptial agreement that another attorney has drafted, the cost will be however much time the attorney spends, charged at their hourly rate.

Our firm undertakes trust administration representation on an hourly fee basis which is outlined in our retainer agreement. The total cost of a trust administration can range from $3,500 to $20,000, depending on the complexity of the work involved.


Probate fees are set by California statute. The fee charged by the court to file a probate petition is $435. There is an additional $435 fee when a petition for final distribution is filed.  Other probate fees include publication of the probate notice, the probate referee, and certification of copies of court documents.

The fees listed below are the California statutory fees used to compensate attorneys and executors in probate cases for various sizes of estates. If both the attorney and the executor receive a fee, the amount paid will be approximately as shown below:

Our firm undertakes conservatorship representation on an hourly fee basis which is outlined in our retainer agreement. The total cost of a conservatorship can range from $5,000 to $8,000 or more. The cost depends on the complexity of the matter, which controls the amount of work that will be required.


Our firm undertakes trust litigation representation on an hourly fee basis which is outlined in our retainer agreement. We require a minimum retainer of $10,000.
